Short bio:
Helen Stuckey was the screen events programmer of games at the australian centre for the moving image (acmi) where she curated the games lab, a space dedicated to addressing the significant contribution to screen culture of video and computer games. Helen initiated and project managed the groundbreaking virtual place acmipark created by australian artists and game developers selectparks. She helps foster a broader international cultural profile for games, participating in many capacities in international gaming, including recently programming the second acmimachinima film festival.
Helen now lectures in the RMIT Games program in the School of Creative Media.
