Peter Giles
Short bio:
Peter Giles is a digital media educator who has initiated and run innovative courses at the Australian Film TV and Radio School in multi platform content, animation, visual effects and screen design. He has also run programs at Metro Screen and taught at the University of Sydney and the University of Technology, Sydney.
He has developed innovative educational programs in partnership with media agencies, animation companies, subscription TV channels and interactive media producers to deliver advanced courses with real world production outcomes. Partners have included MTV, the ABC, SBS TV and Nickelodeon.
Peter has diverse production experience in television, sound, radio, interactive media, video art and museum exhibitions. He is the past chair of the Sydney Chapter of ACM SIGGRAPH and has moderated a wide range of high profile industry events.
