Anita Kocsis

Short bio:
Anita is a senior lecturer in Multimedia Design and coordinates the Multimedia Design postgraduate program at Swinburne University. Anita received her Bachelor of Education at the University of Melbourne in 1987 (Art and Design) and via scholarship attended the Budapest Art Academy in Hungary completing a Post Graduate degree (1990). On her return she was accepted as a studio artist at 200 Gertrude St, Melbourne. Her MFA (Fine Art) RMIT (1997) was titled Alternative Space: hybridizing 3D computer worlds and painting. During this time she also completed the Advanced Diploma in Electronic Design and Interactive Multimedia. Anita's ten year exhibition history is in Installation and Electronic Arts. Anita's practice has also been utilised in advertising and corporate launches. She has exhibited nationally and in Germany, Hungary, Austria, Holland and the USA. Anita is undertaking research within the Centre for Interactive Cinema Research, College of Fine Art, UNSW.
