HTML / dreamweaver demo - TWO WEEKS
composing a webpage using a wysiwyg editor. Images, animations, links, frames, design issues.

Students will be encouraged to use the bulletin board.

During this time we will expand on the possiblites of using the internet to not only document art practice but to also use it as the art itself.

HTML / dreamweaver demo - adding video, audio, interactivity. The students will be given their own folder to create an online virtual studio for their digital images. Students will be shown how to upload images from home using Fetch

Sound demo - ONE WEEK
SoundEdit16 - importing audio, cut and paste techniques, effects, pitch & tone variation, export formats.

Video capture/editing demo - i.movie. importing files, editing techniques, export formats, compression issues, saving video files. Taking stills in to amimation software for the net. Importing shockwave files on to the internet.

Video capture/editing demo - TWO WEEKS
iMovie - importing, cut & paste editing of clips, transitions, titles, audio tracks.

Review of project

In addition to programmed demonstration workshops there will be on-going one-to-one student consultation opportunities.
