CEMA is an interdisciplinary research and production center, established in the late 1990s to explore theoretical and technical possibilities for electronic media art. CEMA's activities include research, training and production in electronic media arts.
CEMA research includes the theory of generative techniques and their practical application to electronic art. rigour from both scientific and aesthetic perspectives are considered paramount.
CEMA staff teach into the existing degree programs within the faculties of Information Technology, Art & Design and Arts.
