New Media: Innovation and Research I & II
Run since 01/01/2005
New Media: Innovation and Research I & II introduces students to trends in new media arts, and to critically examine the history and aesthetics of the digital arts and the roles they play in the arts, the sciences and society at large. The course will focus on students’ own creative practice and examine their own research issues through developing a research paper, participation in weekly seminars, presentations and e-journal publications. In addition, The New Media Lecture Series will form part of this program exploring the innovation and research of professional practicing new media artists.
